School-Based Health Alliance - Substance Use Prevention in SBHC
Since 2015, the School-Based Health Alliance (SBHA), with support from the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, has been leading an effort to test the adaptation of SBIRT into school health care settings. SBHA is training school-based health providers in SBIRT and testing the feasibility of the approach across a variety of sites around the country to identify implementation challenges and keys to success. Through this effort and with their partners, they continue to promote and refine the SBIRT in schools model. Read more about this initiative here.
